Samsung Galaxy M55s, F16, F17, F55, and F56 also receive One UI 8.5 stable update
Samsung Expands One UI 8.5 Stable Rollout to Galaxy M55s and F-Series
Samsung is on a roll with its latest software updates. Just a week after the Galaxy M55 received the One UI 8.5 stable update, the tech giant is now bringing the same software experience to the Galaxy M55s and several popular F-series smartphones.
The Galaxy M55s Gets the Upgrade
If you’re using a Galaxy M55s, keep an eye on your notification shade. The stable One UI 8.5 update has officially landed with firmware version M558BXXU3DZE3. Users in India are the first to get their hands on this build, but we expect the rollout to reach other markets in the coming weeks.
Wide Support for the Galaxy F-Series
It isn’t just the M-series getting all the love. Samsung has simultaneously pushed the stable One UI 8.5 update to a broad range of F-series devices. The following models are now joining the party:
- Galaxy F16: Firmware version E166PXXU5DZE2
- Galaxy F17 5G: Firmware version E176BXXU5CZE9
- Galaxy F55: Firmware version E556BXXU5DZE3
- Galaxy F56 5G: Firmware version E566BXXU5CZE2
Currently, these updates are live for users in India. While India often serves as the initial testing ground for these mid-range rollouts, a global expansion usually follows shortly after the initial stable release.
How to Update Your Device
If you own any of these devices and haven’t seen a pop-up yet, don’t worry—you can easily check for the update manually. Here is how you do it:
- Open the Settings app on your phone.
- Scroll down and tap on Software update.
- Select Download and install.
It’s always a good idea to back up your important data and make sure your battery is at least 50% charged (or plugged in) before starting the installation process to ensure everything goes smoothly.
