Is the Insta360 X6 Coming Soon? Here’s What the Latest Leaks Reveal

If you’ve been waiting for the next big thing in 360-degree action cameras, your patience might finally be paying off. Reliable tech tipster Roland Quandt over at WinFuture just dropped some heavy hints about the upcoming Insta360 X6, including a fresh look at its design, some impressive internal upgrades, and what you can expect to pay for it in Europe.

At first glance, the X6 keeps the familiar DNA of the Insta360 X5, but with a refined, more compact profile. It’s still sporting those signature front and back fisheye lenses, but the layout has seen a slight shuffle—the display is now tucked just beneath the rear lens, while the battery door and physical control buttons remain conveniently placed on the side.

The most exciting update, however, is hidden under the hood. Leaked marketing materials confirm that the X6 will push video performance further, jumping to 8K resolution at a buttery smooth 50fps. That’s a significant step up from the 30fps limit on the previous model, which should make for much more immersive and fluid footage.

Of course, packing that much power into a smaller frame does spark some curiosity about battery longevity. We’ll have to wait and see how Insta360 handles the thermal management and power efficiency once the device officially lands in our hands.

Pricing and Availability

If the leaks are accurate, expect a premium price tag to match the performance. The standard Insta360 X6 is expected to retail at €689, with the Essentials Bundle likely sitting at €789.

Stay tuned—if these marketing materials are making the rounds, an official announcement from the company probably isn’t far off.
