Poco Smartphone Deals: Which Flagship Killer Should You Buy?

Prime Day might be in our rearview mirror, but the search for a great deal never really stops. Since you don’t need a subscription to score these savings, we’ve been digging through the latest offers—and it turns out, Poco is currently dominating the scene with some serious hardware.

The F8 Series: Power Meets Portability

If you’re eyeing the Poco F8 Ultra or the Poco F8 Pro, you’re essentially choosing between different tiers of top-tier performance. The Ultra is a bit of a beast, sporting a massive 6.9-inch display and a heavy-duty 6,500mAh battery. The Pro, meanwhile, hits that ‘just right’ middle ground with a 6.59-inch screen and a 6,210mAh cell. Both offer speedy 100W wired charging, but the Ultra snags an extra point for its 50W wireless charging capability.

It’s not just about size, though. The Ultra takes a clear lead in the camera department. With a larger main sensor, a high-res 50MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom, and a vastly superior ultra-wide camera, it’s the better choice for mobile photographers.

Is the Poco F7 Ultra Still Worth It?

You might see the Poco F7 Ultra pop up during your search. It keeps the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and adds a bit more RAM (16GB), plus a sharper 1440p+ display. However, it compromises with a smaller 5,300mAh battery. If you’re seeing these priced similarly to the newer models, our advice is to stick with the latest F8 lineup.

Poco X8 Series: The Mid-Range Showdown

The Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max follow a similar logic to their F-series cousins. The Pro is the more compact option, while the Pro Max is larger and packs a massive 8,500mAh battery. Interestingly, both offer identical camera performance this time around, leaving the chipset as the primary differentiator. The Pro runs on the Dimensity 8500 Ultra, while the Pro Max jumps up to the flagship-level Dimensity 9500s.
