Available now in the Home and Now Playing views, this new tool allows you to chat with the app to curate your listening experience. Whether you prefer to speak your mind or type out your requests, the interface feels like a natural extension of your music library. You can ask for recommendations based on artists you’ve never heard, refine a playlist on the fly, or even ask the app to hunt down specific tracks you’ve been craving.

The feature goes beyond just playing songs. It acts as a guide for your audio journey:

Deep Dives: Ask about the stories, genres, or inspirations behind a specific track.
Seamless Management: Simply tell Spotify to save songs to your library, add them to your queue, or follow an artist, and it takes care of the heavy lifting.

Who Gets Access?

Before you dive in, there are a few requirements. This feature is currently in its beta phase and is rolling out to English-speaking Premium users aged 18 and older. As of now, it’s limited to mobile devices (both iOS and Android) in the US, Ireland, and Sweden. While it’s exciting to see where this technology goes, Spotify hasn’t yet shared a timeline for a wider global release or when the beta might officially end.
