Oppo Find X10 Ultra: Early Leaks Tease a Massive Camera Upgrade

Even though the dust is still settling on the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, the rumor mill is already spinning up details for its successor. We’re still quite a ways out from the official debut of the Find X10 Ultra—expected in Q1 2027—but fresh leaks are giving us a fascinating glimpse into what Oppo has cooking in their R&D labs.

The big takeaway? Oppo seems to be doubling down on telephoto performance. Industry whispers suggest the company is currently testing a massive 200MP periscope telephoto lens equipped with a 1/1.3-inch sensor. If that makes it into the final build, we’re talking about a significant leap in zoom capabilities and low-light fidelity.

The current Oppo Find X9 Ultra design

That isn’t the only option on the table, either. Reports indicate that engineers are also evaluating an even more ambitious 200MP telephoto sensor with a 1/1.12-inch footprint, or potentially integrating a next-generation Samsung HPC sensor. It’s clear that Oppo is determined to push the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile photography.

What’s Changing?

Beyond the primary telephoto setup, the Find X10 Ultra is rumored to carry a secondary periscope unit: a 50MP Samsung GNB sensor (1/1.95-inch). When you compare this to the current Find X9 Ultra—which relies on a 200MP shooter with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a 50MP secondary telephoto lens with a smaller 1/2.75-inch sensor—the upcoming changes look like a meaningful hardware refresh designed to capture more detail at longer focal lengths.

While it’s still early days and these specs are subject to change, the trajectory is clear. Oppo is positioning the X10 series to be a powerhouse for mobile photography enthusiasts who demand top-tier zoom performance. We’ll be keeping a close eye on these developments as we get closer to that 2027 launch window.
