Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ appears on Geekbench with key specs ahead of launch
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Hits Geekbench: Performance Specs Leaked Ahead of June 4 Launch
Mark your calendars for June 4, because Motorola is about to drop its latest heavy hitter in India: the Edge 70 Pro+. While the Lenovo-owned brand has already teased us with glimpses of the phone’s sleek design and color options, they’ve been keeping the internal specs under wraps. That is, until now.
A fresh set of Geekbench listings has just surfaced, giving us a clear look at what’s powering this upcoming flagship. If the rumors and benchmarks are anything to go by, Motorola isn’t holding back on performance.

Under the Hood: Dimensity Power and Massive RAM
The Geekbench database shows multiple entries for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+, and while the scores vary slightly, the hardware details remain consistent. It looks like we’re looking at a powerhouse featuring 12GB of RAM and a MediaTek MT6899 octa-core processor.
Breaking down the architecture, the chipset sports a triple-cluster setup: four cores at 2.2GHz, three cores at 3.2GHz, and a high-performance prime core running at 3.4GHz. Paired with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, all signs point to this being the Dimensity 8500 SoC. Interestingly, the benchmark also lists the device running on Android 16, which suggests Motorola is already testing the next generation of software or there’s some serious future-proofing happening here.

Photography and Beyond: A Periscope Lens is Coming
While Geekbench focuses on the brains of the operation, Indian retailer Flipkart has been busy teasing the beauty and the glass. We know the Edge 70 Pro+ will debut in three distinct finishes. More importantly, photography enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to: the device is confirmed to feature a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera using the high-end Sony LYTIA 710 sensor.
There is plenty of chatter that the Edge 70 Pro+ is essentially an upgraded version of the Edge 70 Pro seen in other markets. For the Indian audience, Motorola seems to be sweetening the deal by adding that periscope lens and wireless charging capabilities—features that often define the “Plus” experience in the Edge lineup.
With the official launch just around the corner, it won’t be long before we see how these leaked specs translate into real-world performance.
