The iQOO Z11 is Headed to India—But Expect a Few Surprises

It looks like the wait for the iQOO Z11 in India is finally coming to an end. Nipun Marya, the brand’s CEO in India, recently teased the device’s arrival on X, sparking plenty of speculation about what this version will actually look like under the hood.

If you’ve been tracking the Z11’s global rollout, you know it’s been a bit of a moving target. The phone originally launched in China back in March before appearing in other international markets in May. The catch? The Chinese and international versions aren’t identical, and now rumors suggest that the Indian variant might carve out its own unique path entirely.

A New Model, A New Mystery

Leakers are already claiming that the Indian Z11 will be distinct from both the Chinese and global versions. If that holds true, we could soon have three different phones under the same name, each with slightly different internals.

We already have a solid lead on what to expect. A device bearing the model number I2514—which is widely believed to be the Indian Z11—popped up in the Geekbench database. According to the listing, it’s packing a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM, and notably, it’s running Android 16.

Is it a Rebrand?

The choice of the Dimensity 7500 has led to some interesting theories. Some industry tipsters are suggesting that the Indian iQOO Z11 might actually be a rebranded version of the vivo S60e Vitality Edition, which shares that exact processor. If that turns out to be true, it would confirm that iQOO is pulling from a familiar playbook to fill out its mid-range lineup.

With the teaser campaign just starting to pick up steam, we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer for an official word from iQOO. Until then, keep an eye out for more details on whether this mystery device can live up to the Z-series legacy in India.
