Honor Win 2 specs leak alongside some details about the Win 2 RT

Honor Win 2 Leak: Massive 10,000mAh Battery and 185Hz Refresh Rate?

Remember when Honor dropped the Win and Win RT back in December? They certainly made a splash with those massive batteries and active cooling, but it looks like Honor isn’t slowing down. Fresh rumors out of China are already pulling back the curtain on the Win 2 series, and if these specs hold up, we are looking at some genuine hardware monsters.

The Powerhouse: Honor Win 2

The flagship of the new lineup, which we’ll call the Honor Win 2 for now, is shaping up to be a dream for power users and gamers alike. According to the latest leaks, it will feature a 6.89-inch screen with a sharp ‘2K+’ resolution. The most eye-catching detail? A 185Hz refresh rate. That is incredibly fluid, even by modern flagship standards, likely utilizing LTPS panel technology to keep things snappy.

Under the hood, the Win 2 is expected to debut with the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. While we don’t know yet if it’s the standard or ‘Pro’ variant of the silicon, the performance jump should be significant. To keep that engine running, Honor is allegedly packing in a massive 10,000 mAh battery—essentially a power bank with a phone attached. We are also expecting some much-needed upgrades to the camera array compared to the first generation.

The Win 2 RT and a Mystery Third Sibling

It’s not just the top-tier model getting an update. The Win 2 RT is rumored to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Interestingly, the rumors also point toward a third, unnamed member of the Win 2 family. This mid-ranger of sorts might feature a ‘1.5K’ resolution screen with a very high refresh rate, powered by the current Snapdragon 8 Elite.

When Can We Get Our Hands on Them?

If you’re ready to reach for your wallet, you’ll need a bit of patience. Since Qualcomm isn’t expected to reveal the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 until September, the Honor Win 2 family won’t be hitting shelves before then. This leaves us with plenty of time for more leaks, renders, and official teasers to emerge as we get closer to the fall launch window.
