By bridging the gap between your hardware and the popular OpenTrack software, this tool allows you to control in-game camera movements simply by turning your head. It’s a total game-changer for flight simulators and racing titles—we’re talking over 200 compatible PC games, including heavy hitters like Microsoft Flight Simulator and Assetto Corsa.

How It Works

The magic lies in how Windows handles your headphones. While Sony’s gear comes with the Android Head Tracker protocol baked into the firmware, Windows doesn’t natively know how to use it. Slattery’s app essentially acts as a translator, feeding that live sensor data into OpenTrack, which then tells your game where you’re looking. It’s an elegant, lightweight solution that mimics the feel of expensive VR setups without the need for additional bulky cameras or sensors.

Because the app relies on the specific hardware used for spatial audio, support is limited to select models that feature this tech:

Unfortunately, if you’re rocking Apple AirPods, you’re out of luck here; they use a proprietary protocol that doesn’t play nice with this specific workaround on Windows.
