Ayaneo reveals when the Next 2 and Konkr Fit Windows handhelds will ship

Ayaneo Next 2 Shipping Update: When Will the Beast Arrive?

If you’ve been tracking the progress of the Ayaneo Next 2, the wait is almost over. After making waves with its massive 9.06-inch OLED display and that impressive 115Wh battery back in December, Ayaneo has finally shared a roadmap for when backers can expect to see the device at their doorstep.

The June Production Push

According to the latest update, June is going to be a very busy month for the Ayaneo team. Suppliers are already churning out core components, including the custom motherboards, high-res OLED screens, and those high-capacity batteries. With the non-critical parts already sitting in the warehouse, the assembly line is ready to roll.

Here is how the timeline looks if everything stays on track:

  • Early June: Trial production runs begin to ensure quality control.
  • Mid-June: Mass production kicks into high gear.
  • Late June: The first wave of orders begins shipping to Indiegogo backers.

Missed the Pre-Order Window?

If you didn’t manage to snag one before orders closed on March 23, the news is a bit bittersweet. Ayaneo has stated they currently can’t guarantee production for new orders beyond the initial run. However, there is still a glimmer of hope. You can contact their customer service team to register your interest in a specific configuration and color. If someone cancels or they find extra capacity, they’ll be reaching out to those on the waitlist.

The Konkr Fit is Also on the Way

The Next 2 isn’t the only handheld getting some love. The more compact Konkr Fit is scheduled to enter production by the end of this month. If that timeline holds, we’re likely looking at a June shipping window for that device as well, making it a massive month for Windows gaming handheld fans.

It’s an exciting time for the handheld PC market, and Ayaneo continues to push the envelope on hardware specs. While we wait for those late June shipping notifications, it’s clear that the competition in the Windows gaming space is only getting hotter.
