The Xiaomi 17T Series Has Leaked: High-End Specs and Massive Batteries Incoming
If you’ve been following the mobile rumor mill lately, you probably heard whispers that the Xiaomi 17T series might arrive much sooner than expected. Well, those whispers just turned into a roar. Thanks to some major leaks from WinFuture and Dealabs, we now have a crystal-clear look at the design, full internal specs, and even the expected price tags for the Xiaomi 17T and the 17T Pro.
Pricing and Premium Builds
Let’s start with the part that hits the wallet. In France, the standard Xiaomi 17T is tipped to start at €749 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. If you want to step up to the Pro model, you’re looking at €999, which gets you 12GB of RAM and a roomier 512GB of storage.
The price gap isn’t just about what’s under the hood; the build quality differs too. The standard 17T is expected to feature a plastic frame, while the Pro variant opts for a more premium metal chassis—a subtle but important distinction for those who prefer a more tactile, high-end feel.
Xiaomi 17T: The Balanced Powerhouse
The base model is shaping up to be quite the contender. It sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Driving the experience is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, paired with fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
For photography enthusiasts, Xiaomi isn’t holding back. You can expect:
- Main Camera: 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor
- Telephoto: 50MP lens with 5x optical zoom
- Ultrawide: 12MP sensor
- Selfie: 32MP front-facing camera
One of the biggest talking points is the battery. At 6,500mAh, this thing is built to last, supporting 67W fast charging to keep you moving. It’ll likely ship with HyperOS based on the upcoming Android 16 and will be available in Blue, Black, and Purple.
Xiaomi 17T Pro: The Battery King
If the standard model sounds good, the Pro version takes things to another level. The screen gets a bump to a 6.83-inch OLED panel with a blazing-fast 144Hz refresh rate—perfect for mobile gamers who demand zero lag.
The internal hardware sees a significant upgrade as well, featuring the flagship Dimensity 9500 SoC. But the real star of the show is the gargantuan 7,000mAh battery. To put that in perspective, that’s significantly larger than almost every other mainstream flagship on the market. It also supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, so you won’t be tethered to a wall for long.
While the secondary cameras remain the same as the standard model, the Pro upgrades the main sensor to a Light Fusion 950 for even better low-light performance and detail. With Wi-Fi 7 support and the same sleek color options, the 17T Pro is clearly aiming for the top spot in the 2025 smartphone rankings.
