Nothing Phone (4b) spotted on Geekbench ahead of launch
Nothing Phone (4b) Appears on Geekbench Ahead of July 7 Launch
Mark your calendars: the Nothing Phone (4b) is officially heading our way on July 7, with a rollout planned for India and select global markets. While the company has kept things mysterious by only sharing a rough design sketch, a recent appearance on Geekbench has pulled back the curtain on some of the internal hardware we can expect.
The device, identified by the model number A009P, recently popped up in benchmark testing. If you’ve been waiting for a glimpse at what’s under the hood, here is the breakdown:
- Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 (SM6650)
- GPU: Adreno 810
- RAM: 8GB
- Software: Android 16
In terms of raw performance, the Phone (4b) managed to pull in a single-core score of 1,088, with a multi-core score hitting 3,155. It is clearly positioning itself as a more accessible option, slotting right below the Phone (4a) series in Nothing’s current lineup.
Even though it’s a more entry-level offering, Nothing isn’t ditching its core identity. Based on early teasers, the handset will still feature that iconic transparent design aesthetic. There are also strong hints that it will include a signature LED light strip, keeping the visual flair that fans have come to expect from the brand.
We’re keeping a close eye on further leaks as we get closer to the official July event. Are you interested in a more budget-friendly Nothing device, or are you holding out for the Pro models?
