vivo starts teasing the global Y500, reveals its battery capacity and screen resolution
vivo launched the Y500 in China last September, and now a different Y500 family is ready to become available in other markets, comprising three members. One of those is the Y500 that vivo has just started teasing in Nepal.
The phone looks nothing like the Chinese Y500. It has been teased to feature an AMOLED screen with “1.5K” resolution and an 8,100 mAh battery. There’s also what vivo describes as a “trendy camera design” on board, as well as an “ultra fast & powerful” SoC, that unfortunately hasn’t been officially revealed yet.

However, a recent Google Play Console listing told us it is the Unisoc T7300 at the helm, paired with 8GB of RAM. The Y500 will unsurprisingly run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top. More details will undoubtedly be revealed soon, so stay tuned.
