Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s are coming to India next week
Oppo Find X9 Ultra and X9s: India Launch Confirmed for May 21
After weeks of cryptic teasers and mounting anticipation, Oppo has finally stopped playing coy. The brand has officially confirmed that its latest flagship duo—the Find X9 Ultra and the Find X9s—is making its grand debut in India on May 21. Originally making waves during their China launch back in April, these devices are landing on Indian shores with some of the most aggressive specs we’ve seen this year.
The Camera King is Here
If you’re a photography enthusiast, the Find X9 Ultra is likely already on your radar. Oppo is clearly aiming for the mobile photography crown here, packing a quad-rear camera system that sounds more like a professional kit than a phone. The setup features a massive 200MP Sony LYT-901 main sensor and an incredible 200MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 3x optical zoom.
But they didn’t stop there. You also get a 50MP periscope lens for 10x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide for those expansive landscape shots. To ensure skin tones and environments look natural, there’s a 3.2MP true color sensor integrated into the module. For the selfie-takers, a high-resolution 50MP front camera handles the portrait duties.

Raw Power and Longevity
Under the hood, the Ultra is a beast. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, ensuring it can handle everything from high-end gaming to heavy 4K video editing without breaking a sweat. The display is equally impressive—a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel featuring a butter-smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
Perhaps the most surprising spec is the battery. While most flagships hover around the 5,000mAh mark, Oppo has squeezed a massive 7,050mAh battery into the Ultra, which should easily provide two days of use for most people. The Find X9s isn’t far behind either, sporting a 7,025mAh cell and the Dimensity 9500s chipset.
Pricing and Competition
Quality like this doesn’t come cheap. Recent leaks suggest the Find X9 Ultra could be priced around INR 1,69,999, positioning it as a premium rival to the vivo X300 Ultra, which recently launched at INR 1,59,999. The more accessible Find X9s is expected to start at a more digestible INR 70,000 for the base model.

The Ultra will be available in striking Canyon Orange and Tundra Umber color options, featuring a premium leather-like texture.
What to Expect
With the official launch just days away, Oppo is clearly looking to dominate the high-end segment in India. Whether you’re looking for the ultimate camera experience in the Ultra or a powerful, long-lasting daily driver in the X9s, the May 21 event will be one to watch.
