Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series tablets now appear in Google Play Console’s supported devices list

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series tablets were recently spotted on Bluetooth SIG’s website, as they were Bluetooth-certified. Now those same tablets have appeared in Google Play Console’s supported devices list.

The Galaxy Tab S12 series consists of two tablets – the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. The Google Play Console lists five models of the Galaxy Tab S12+ and three models of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.

The Wi-Fi-only version of the Galaxy Tab S12+ has codename “gts12pwifi” and model designation SM-X840, while the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra’s Wi-Fi-only version has codename “gts12uwifi” and model designation SM-X940.

Last month, Samsung confirmed that it would unveil the Galaxy Tab S12 series in H2 2026, but didn’t get any more specific than that. Since the Galaxy Tab S11 series – consisting of the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra – was unveiled last September, we expect the Galaxy Tab S12 lineup to go official around the same time.
