GTA VI Pricing Revealed: How Much You’ll Need to Budget

The wait is almost over. Rockstar Games has finally pulled back the curtain on the pricing for Grand Theft Auto VI, and pre-orders officially kick off on June 25. For months, fans have been speculating about whether the title would push the boundaries of current AAA pricing, but we now have a firm answer.

You can snag the Standard Edition for $80, while the Ultimate Edition will set you back $100. While seeing a price hike might sting for some, it’s largely in line with where the industry is heading for blockbuster releases in 2025.

If you’re eager to jump into the action the second the game drops on November 19, you’ll be happy to know that pre-loading begins on November 12. Interestingly, opting for a physical copy doesn’t grant you a disc-based experience; the box simply includes a download code, meaning the physical version functions identical to the digital one once you redeem it.

What’s in the Ultimate Edition?

If you’re leaning toward the $100 Ultimate Edition, Rockstar is throwing in a suite of digital goodies to sweeten the deal, including exclusive weapons, vehicles, clothing items, and tattoos that are woven into the campaign experience.

Plus, there’s a little extra incentive for those who commit early. If you buy or pre-order before November 20, you’ll score the Vintage Vice City Pack. This nostalgia-fueled bonus features a classic ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan (complete with its own dedicated garage space), a variety of ’80s-inspired outfits and hairstyles, and a vibrant, pastel-themed weapon skin to help you stand out in the streets of Vice City.
