Samsung Galaxy A15 and A24 Get a Major Boost: One UI 8.5 Is Here
Samsung Rolls Out Stable One UI 8.5 to Galaxy A15 and A24
Samsung is continuing its steady march of software updates, bringing the stable version of One UI 8.5 to a few more of its popular mid-range devices. After recently pushing the update to the Galaxy A15 5G, Samsung has now expanded the rollout to the 4G variants of both the Galaxy A15 and the Galaxy A24.
Galaxy A15 4G Receives the Update
For owners of the Galaxy A15 4G (model number SM-A155N) in South Korea, the update is officially live. Coming in with firmware version A155NKSU9DZF1, the download package is roughly 2.5GB. Beyond the new features inherent in One UI 8.5, this update also bundles in the May 2026 Android security patch to keep your device running smoothly and securely.

Galaxy A24 4G Gets One UI 8.5 Too
The Galaxy A24 4G is joining the party as well. Users in South Korea can now pull down the update for their devices (model number SM-A245N). This version, labeled A245NKSU9FZF1, sits at approximately 2.4GB in size. If you’re holding onto one of these phones, it’s a substantial update that’s well worth the time to download.
How to Grab the Update
If you haven’t seen a notification pop up yet, don’t worry—rollouts can sometimes take a little time to hit every device. You can check manually by heading into your Settings, tapping on Software update, and selecting Download and install.
While the initial rollout is concentrated in South Korea, we expect Samsung to push these updates to other international markets in the coming days. Keep an eye on your notification shade if you’re outside of the region!
