Bajaj Chetak C25 Price – Range, Images, Colours
Meet the New Bajaj Chetak C25: A Leaner, Meaner Urban Electric Scooter
If you thought the new Chetak C25 was just a minor tweak to the existing lineup, think again. While it shares the iconic nameplate with the Chetak 30 and 35 series, this machine is a different beast entirely. Built on a completely fresh frame, the C25 is designed specifically for those who need agility and efficiency in the urban jungle.

Built for Agility: Light on Its Feet
The most striking difference here is the weight. Bajaj has managed to shed a massive 23kg compared to the older models, bringing the kerb weight down to just 107kg. Pair that with a tighter 1225mm wheelbase, and you have a scooter that is incredibly easy to flick through heavy traffic. It stays planted on 12-inch wheels, supported by telescopic forks at the front and dual springs at the rear. For stopping power, you get a reliable disc brake up front and a drum brake at the back.
Range, Power, and Charging
Instead of the swingarm-mounted motor found on its bigger siblings, the Chetak C25 utilizes a 2.2kW hub-mounted motor powered by a 2.5kWh NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) battery. While it’s built for the city, it doesn’t skimp on utility. You’re looking at a claimed range of 113km on a full charge—more than enough for the average daily commute.

When it comes to juicing up, the 750W offboard charger is impressively quick, taking you from 0 to 80% in about 2 hours and 25 minutes. With a top speed of 55kmph, it’s perfectly paced for navigating residential zones and busy city boulevards.
Smart Storage and Features
Practicality is where the C25 really shines. While the underseat storage is slightly smaller at 25 litres (down from 35 litres in the premium models), it’s still plenty for a helmet or groceries. Plus, the front apron features two cubby holes—each capable of holding a one-litre bottle—and a spacious floorboard that won’t leave your feet feeling cramped.

Tech-wise, the standard package includes a vibrant color LCD console, a dedicated ‘Drive’ mode, and a reverse mode to help with tight parking spots. If you want to take things up a notch, the optional TecPac (priced at an additional Rs. 3,000) is a no-brainer. It unlocks:
- Dual Ride Modes (Eco and Sports)
- Music Control and Smartphone connectivity
- Hill Hold assist (perfect for flyovers)
- Sequential rear blinkers and ‘Guide Me Home’ lights
- Customizable display themes
For those who want even more connectivity and security, an optional data pack is available starting from Rs. 1,300. The Chetak C25 represents a smarter, lighter way to look at electric mobility without losing that classic Chetak charm.
