Infinix details Hot 70 design

Infinix Hot 70 Series: Style Meets Substance with Color-Shifting Tech

While the Infinix Hot 70 has already made its debut in Bangladesh, the rest of the world is eagerly waiting for the global reveal on May 25. To keep the hype building, Infinix just pulled back the curtain on the design details for the entire Hot 70 series, and it’s clear they aren’t holding back on the aesthetics.

A Palette for Every Personality

In a world of monochromatic smartphones, Infinix is injecting some serious color into the market. The Hot 70 series will launch with a staggering 12 color options, ranging from sleek and professional to wild and experimental.

The real showstopper here is the Thermo Orange edition. This isn’t just a bright name; the phone actually changes color based on temperature. Pop it in the freezer for about 10 minutes, and it shifts from a light orange to a deep, saturated hue. Use a hairdryer or even the warmth of your hands, and it lightens back up. Because it reacts to thermal changes, you can even create temporary custom patterns on the back of the device for a truly personalized look.

Texture and Light Play

If color-shifting isn’t your vibe, the Quiet Violet and Green Texture variants offer a more sophisticated elegance. These models feature:

  • Gradient Backs: Intricate, feather-like patterns that catch the light as you move the phone.
  • Crystal Mood Island: An iridescent finish around the camera module that refracts light in a prism-like effect.

For those who prefer something a bit more understated, the series also includes Night Pulse (a classic black), Silver Dancer, and Dive Blue. These might skip the thermal tricks, but they still maintain the premium look of the lineup.

Slim, Lightweight, and Flashy

Beyond the colors, the Hot 70 series maintains a remarkably slim profile. Every unit measures just 7.49mm thick and weighs in at 195 grams, making it easy to handle despite its large battery.

Adding a bit of functional flair, Infinix has included the Active Halo LED bar located just below the camera lenses. This isn’t just for show—the lighting is fully programmable to pulse or glow for incoming notifications, charging status, or as an immersive light show while gaming.
